These are non-voting sponsorship categories.

Benefits of Affiliate Sponsorship include:

Web Site Logo/Listing – the BACnet International home page has a link to a "Members Page" that contains the logos of corporate members and sponsors. Affiliate sponsors can have their logo included on this page in the Corporate Affiliate Sponsorship section of this page.

Promotional Opportunity Discounts - From time to time, BACnet International may offer discounts for promotional opportunities at extra cost to corporate members. Examples are “early-bird” discounts on exhibit space, early registration discounts for conferences and participation discounts for interoperability workshops. Participation in these discount opportunities may vary by category but Corporate Affiliate Sponsors will receive discounts equal to or better then those offered to BACnet International Silver Members/Sponsors.

Product Catalog - The BACnet International website has a product catalog and affiliate sponsors can have their BACnet products included. (NOTE that this is a generic product catalog and is NOT the registered BTL listing site.)

BTL Listing Discount – BACnet International, through its BACnet Testing Laboratory (BTL) maintains a registered listing service for products that have
successfully completed BTL-specific BACnet conformance testing. Listing on this site is a requirement for a product to carry the BTL Mark. A company does not have to be a BACnet International member or sponsor to have their tested products listed. However, BACnet International sponsors receive substantial discounts on listing fees depending on their category of sponsorship.

Corporate Affiliate Sponsors are entitled to the following discounts on BTL listing fees:

• 70% discount on all listings up to 10 for Level 1, 2 and 3 Affiliate Sponsors
• 75% discount on all listings in excess of 10 for Level 2 Affiliate Sponsors
• 85% discount on all listings in excess of 10 for Level 1 Affiliate Sponsors

Requirements for Corporate Affiliate Sponsorship

1. Sponsorship Fee – applicants must pay the BACnet International Corporate Affiliate
Sponsorship fee (currently US $4,000 annually).

2. BACnet Community Support – in addition to paying the Sponsorship Fee above,
applicants must demonstrate direct support for the global BACnet community
through contributions to local or regional BACnet organizations exceeding the
equivalent of US$15,000 annually (Level 1) or US$5,000 (Level 2) or US$2,500 (Level 3).
